CMR process administrations can be given a different name
As of this version, it is possible to give a process administration a different name. Normally, the name of a process schedule consists of the name of the process in the schedule followed by the year of the schedule. As of this version, you can deviate from this by filling in the “Name” field in the process schedule. When that field is filled, that name followed by the year of planning will be used as the name of the planning.
CMR registration is now also possible on only department
In this version, it is now possible to link departments in the process administration.
All employees working in a linked department are then included in the process exposure overview. In the process exposure overview, it can be specified whether only the department is shown and whether the employees linked to this department should be shown.
Preparations for the new version of Chemwatch: Beehive
In anticipation of the new version of Chemwatch, several adjustments have been made in SOFOS360 so that when Chemwatch releases the new version, the link with SOFOS360 can be made more easily. The new version of Chemwatch promises more extensive filling of VGD substances and the ability to transfer Chemwatch substances' linked SDSs into SOFOS360.
When issuing pots, additional pots can be selected at once
In the "Issue" screen, it is now possible to select all pots in the additional overview with one click. This function has been added to speed up the issue process when several pots with the same item, weight and price have to be issued at the same time.
New API function: request list info using a CAS number
It is now possible to use a new API to check, based on a CAS number, whether a substance appears on various lists, such as SZW, ZZS and BAL Annex 3. In addition, insight is given into regulations under legislations such as REACH, VOC, ODS, OPCW, and whether a substance falls under categories such as drugs, opiates or WVMC. This extension, which can be used by external ordering systems, for example, provides users with faster and more complete insight into the legal status of substances.
The field 'ZZS Emission Class' has been added
The NER class has for some time been replaced by the BAL Annex 3 classes. However, this list contains fewer substances that are specifically named using the CAS number. The list consists of groups of substances that are only described and as such cannot be identified in SOFOS360. As a result, the number of substances with a BAL 3 indication is much smaller in SOFOS360 than the substances with the old NER indication.
However, the SOD list also includes the NER indication for a number of substances. Because more substances on the SDS list are specifically named using the CAS number, there are more specifically named substances with a NER classification. For this reason, a new list has been included on the “Lists” tab: “ZZS Emission Class”.
Extra additions
- In the default pot overview and the pot overview on the space-screen, the article columns 'Instruction', 'Info' and 'Comment' are now also available. These fields are now also available in the pot screen.
- The substance overview can now also be filtered by values in the VCW column.
- The maximum number of elements selectable at once has been increased to 1000. If more elements are listed, the “Select all” tick will be hidden.
- The texts of section 4.2 are included in the SDS.
- Updating- and getting Chemwatch substances has been speeded up a lot.
- The Purity field has been added to both article and pot. This field allows the purity level of a product to be recorded and managed within the system.
